Well it has happened. The new lineup change has been decided and will go into effect very soon. Kangaroo Love is leaving us for a while. But, two beers will be taking it’s place. Serum, our current seasonal, has officially made it to the big leagues. Also joining our xxIPA, will be Euphoria (in a few weeks).
I have some other cool things to talk about, but just not ready yet. So if you want to hear about them, remember to sign up for the blog. Either click the orange square in the upper right corner for an RSS feed, or enter your email address to get it that way.
Cheers,
DB

Thats awesome, serum is one of my top three favorite beers at Duclaw.
February 26th, 2010 at 9:30 amAre they going to bring back Firkin Fidays later this year? They don’t have any listed on the main Duclaw website. I had an especially delicious Double Dry Hopped Serum last year, and would love to get my hands on some more this year.

The Serum is very fine this year and I was very happy to see Old Flame back in the mix. Change is good and so are the beers.

I will be sad to see Kangaroo go. Boo, it is a great summer beer.

This is all fine and dandy… but what about Blackout?!?! Its been over a year and a half. I would love to see it’s triumphant return, we have some catching-up to do.

@Don, @nick – ahh, now you see the tough part of our jobs. I agree with both of you guys. But, every time we have to move a beer up to the bigs, one has to go down to the minors. It is a tough call, and we know people are going to be disappointed. I am sorry we can’t accommodate (for now), but we love the posts & feedback. Keep ‘em coming.
Cheers.

When, oh when can I expect to see my favorite brew, Bad Moon, back on tap?
March 16th, 2010 at 8:11 pmSays:
@Keving – very soon! Once our supply of Alchemy runs out, Bad Moon will be back.

Are any other (long time) staples leaving the rotation?
March 23rd, 2010 at 3:02 pmSays:
@Katie – not any in the near future. But come October, I think you will be pretty shocked at which one will be departing!

First off, Venom and Serum are masterpieces. One of the best IPA’s and XXIPA’s I’ve ever had. Any chance of a Nitro Serum? I’m not sure what the limitations are to the Nitro process.
March 25th, 2010 at 4:42 pmSays:
@Mike – Thanks for the compliments, I will be sure to pass them on to Jim and Bo! Serum on Nitro should be on tap in about 5-7 weeks. We have a number of Venom and Celtic Fury to go through, before Serum. We think we have about 6 weeks worth of them. Also, just for the record, Venom is an aggressively hopped American Pale Ale. The main difference from Venom and an IPA is body. An IPA, typically, would have a lighter body than an American Pale Ale. Though Venom is hopped more than most IPA I have tasted!
